Jun 10th 2008 01:05 pm Hippie Festivals can be pretty fun.

Things have been a bit crazy lately. I was on assignment for The Pitch in Lawrence covering all 4 days of the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival. Photos are being edited and added soon, but if you want to read my Wakajournal, this is a pretty good place to do such a thing. I got to see the Flaming Lips, Dr. Dog (twice), Apollo Sunshine, Limbeck, Alejandro Escovedo, Ben Folds, and quite a few others, so do check it out if you like music and making fun of hippies.

Some shots from the Lips show, at least the ones I’ve edited thus far:

Things have been pretty busy ’round these parts lately, aside from hippie festival attendings. I just got done with some CD artwork for SUPER CONSUMERS out of Philadelphia, and I’m currently working on some other web and print projects, but I’m still looking for other work…so if you need some design work, give me a shout.

Keep checking back for more updates in the design and photo sessions, and hopefully the first Kentucky Chrome Podcast will be up soon, as well as some links to new musical projects. Say howdy, and make sure you’re wearing sunscreen out there, kids!
